Seeking to make sense of the grid on – what is your tackle it?

I am seeking to perceive the common sense in the back of the grid that []( makes use of. A part of the design is that this visible grid that runs throughout the web page in a 4 column constellation. The design does apply that grid for many portions, and it seems to be just right.

I am simply seeking to perceive its common sense, particularly when textual content content material is displayed in 2 columns. If so, the 2 textual content blocks don’t seem to be sized in a similar way. See screenshot.

I’d almost certainly think that the 2 textual content blocks must be the similar measurement, each being 2/4th of the 4 columns. As an alternative, one of the crucial blocks is two/4th (492px width), and the opposite is 412px large.

It seems to be just right, and I am positive there may be established reasoning in the back of those sizes, so the query here’s how did they arrive about deciding that the correct textual content block must be smaller.
