Why are world variables unhealthy, however globally accessed Supplier (from riverpod) just right/adequate?

I’m beginning to be told riverpod, I see the suppliers are world. Why is that adequate? Till now, I had learn one must steer clear of world variables. Why is that this now not the case with riverpod?
